Action numbered 75 "Geographic Information Infrastructure Installation" project in the Action Plan under title Modernization of Public Administration in Information Society Strategy which entered into force upon publication in the Official Gazette dated 28/07/2006 numbered 26242  envisaging the provision of data from the place where it is generated was carried out under the responsibility of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre.

PURPOSE; 
It aims at updating existing Land Registry and Cadastre information, as foreseen in the Law on Land Registry and Cadastre in a way and structure to form the base for Spatial Information Systems and offering for use by transferring in digital and legal to computer environment.

SCOPE:

Orthophoto production and Renovation work and other activities within the scope of "Protocol of Cooperation on the Activities of Land Registry and Cadastre in TRNC" dated October 06, 2010 with the approval of Ministry of Environment and Urban Development dated December 16, 2011 will be carried out by Map Department and Department of Cadastre respectively.

· standardizing operations relating to land registry and cadastre technique of General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre and enabling transactions carried out in Land Registry and Cadastre Directorates (including chiefdoms), in accordance with the legislation and in computer environment;
